Resident Parking Outside TLP Cause Accident
This is what happens when our residents start to park their cars outside the back gate of our Taman Lone Pine. We will report them to the Police to take action against them.
Tonight, at around 8pm a motor vehicle accident happened and this could be due to the stupid car park there. Imagine if there was an emergency and the back gate was blocked by a stupid resident's car.

KICKED OUT OF THE COMITTEE
Finally, a good reason to kick out one of our non-contributing self important member of our committee in the Perbadanan Pengurusan Taman Lone Pine.
The reason this person was KICKED out was due to the reason that he refused to pay maintenance fees due to some disputed method of derivation of payment formula.
Finally, we all voted and it was decided that he will not be invited to join in future meetings or have any say in the committee until he pays up his maintenance in full and he re-applies to join.
On top of that, this selfish person will be subject to Vehicle Access Card blockage as well as be highlighted in the public list of debtors on notice boards.
Rubbish do not belong in our committee, rubbish should be in the rubbish bin.

Two Sides of the Coin
You know only what you know and how true that is. Limited knowledge is dangerous. Knowledge from hear say even more dangerous. Perception which is often one sided can be easilty distorted and manipulated at will.
On last Saturday, we retuend home to see that three large trees in fron of our apartment block had been chopped down. My two children were furious, "Daddy, It takes ten years for the tree to grow so big and how come you don't know the trees are to be chopped down. Do you know it is bad for the environment that the trees are chopped down. The plane will become hotter and hotter."
Wow! I was dumb founded by the questions. I was a little ashamed. I was in the Committee and I did not know why. I promised that I would find out and let them know when we had our committee meeting the coming Monday.
Our Chairman finally explained to us how urgently the trees needed to be chopped down.
Due to poor planning by the developer, the trees, planted too close to the apartment blocks had now threatened the foundatin structure and was about to rupture our piping and septic tanks beneath. (I will update with photos soon) WHat surprised me even more was when we were walking home after the meeting, I was shown how bad some parts of the retaining walls were already cracking under the presssure of the surrounding trees growing roots.
Well in this case, I guess we have no choice but to destroy the trees before they destroy our homes and property.

Beware of Trees Growing on Your Roof Top
There is a tree growing on the edge of my unit’s roof top. On the 26th August 2010, my master bedroom toilet flush was jammed up for the third time within the last 6 months. Luckily for us the third plumber was able to figure out the root cause. The toilet flush main pipe was filled with tree roots. (Attached picture attached)
So the next time you see a tree growing on your roof, be alert and get rid of it before it jams up your bathroom toilet.

A Shameful Act of Abuse of Power for Personal Interest
Today 9th June 2010 at around 10am a resident complained to the PPTLP and even better sent photographs as proof of what has happened. A Toyota car WRN 5392 was parked in a no parking zone in between parking lot number 20 and 21. This space is meant to provide residents with a passage way to go in and out of the lagoon and jogging track. What this means is that this car does not have a proper parking place and certainly has no vehicle access card but somehow has managed to come into our Taman. This can only happen if there are accomplices within the midst of our residents or the security guards have been cheated into letting this car in.
What is even more interesting is that at 5.38pm today, the same car was parked in parking lot No. 20. I could not believe it when I found out that the parking lot No. 20 actually belonged to a resident Mr. Heng who also happened to be one of the inactive and self important committee members who by the way is also owing 2 months of maintenance fees to the PPTLP.
What was worse is that on top of owning 4 Vehicle access cards, he needs to have even more parking lots. This terrible person is displaying a shameful behaviour by trying to abuse his position as a committee member to get information and special privileges. I guess Mr. Heng still thinks this is the old Lone Pine / CLC Management Corporation where favouritism and abuse of power can take place with no one being accountable.
Recently, during the AGM, it was approved to amend and increase the maintenance charges for shop lots. Since then Mr. Heng has not been paying his maintenance fees since April 2010. This silly man does not realise that it will only attract interest and possible further legal action may be taken.
That is not all, if you look at the shop lot beside the letter box of block 1, you can see how Mr. Heng has used potted plants to block the common area outside the shop lot. This same selfish act can be seen by taking a look at his ground floor unit where a garden has been made and once again a fence has been made to barrier out common area. Soon we will address all this issues one by one.
The first step is to expel this Mr. Heng from the committee due to disruptive behaviour by citing him a show cause as to why he should not be removed from the committee for his bad examples and poor track record which includes poor attendance to meetings, non paying of maintenance fees, encroachment of common area, instigating others against management Corporation, lying, harassment of other ex-committee members parents and so many more other incidents.

Adalah dimaklumkan, Bahagian Penguatkuasaan Jabatan Perumahan Negara telah menerima aduan/pertanyaan melibatkan Akta Hakmilik Strata 1985 daripada pengadu Encik Roland Barbosa berhubung beberapa isu seperti berikut:
i) Bolehkah Pemaju mengambil surau sementara dan masukkan unit tersebut dalam parcelnya?
ii) Bolehkah Pemaju ambil common property dan masukkannya dalam aksesorinya?
iii) Bolehkah pemaju menukarkan premis komersial kepada kediaman?
iv)Bolehkah Pemaju melengah-lengahkan menyerahakan strata titile kepada pembeli?
v) Bolehkah pemaju yang masih aktif menggunakan liquidator untuk menyerahkan strata title kepada pembeli dan cas pembeli untuk perkhidmatan tersebut?
vi)Bolehkah pemaju ambil alih tempat letak kereta untuk pelawat dan masukkannya ke dalam aksesorinya?
Bersama - sama ini juga dilampirkan gambar-gambar yang diberikan oleh pengadu untuk rujukan selanjutnya.

LUNATICS IN THE TAMAN
Today morning as early as 8.30am a tenant renting a unit in Block 22 Driving Black Mercedes PFY97 wanted his girlfriend's car Wira PFJ1093 to come into the Taman. The security Guard initially refused to allow entry because they had no access card and the the other car was already in the Taman. If you want Wira PFJ1093 to come in, please move out your Mercedes PFY97.
The crazy lunatic then threatened the security guard with harm and purposely parked the PFJ1093 Wira to block the exit. The lunatic knocked a Toyota Vios from the rear. The lunatic left the PFJ1093 Wira and went back to his rented unit in Block 22. He returned a few minutes later with a kitchen knife hidden behind his hand to threaten the guard and the owner of the Toyota Vios.
The security supervisor arrived in time with the police. The lunatic like the coward he is begged for forgiveness and promised the Toyota Vios owner that he would pay for damages and he quickly removed his girlfriend's Wira PFJ1093.
A police report will be lodged against this lunatic tenant for obstruction, threat to harm and wielding dangerous weapon. The security guards will from now onwards stop the girlfriend's Wira PFJ1093 from coming into the Taman. Any future case will be referred to the Police for investigation and prosecution.
It is allegedly reported that this lunatic Mercedes PFY97 is a failed contractor, out of job and living on and off his girlfriend. It seems that his wife left him with his kids and his previous girlfriend also left him. While in the Taman this seems to be girlfriend no. 2 and counting. I am sure this girlfriend will also leave the lunatic because he is crazy.
We hope unit owners do not simply rent out their units to lunatics like this crazy person.

Wheel Clamp is in Taman Lone Pine
Watch Out The Wheel Clamps are in and we have already started using them. Please look out for the memorandums and signes on all the wall of our taman. Gone are the days when we have cars trespassing or hoodwinking our security guards, we will clamp their wheels. This morning a resident in Block 22 who owes maintenance fee for the last few years sneaked in on the pretense of heavy rain. His car Waja Silver color PFP 1133 was clamped. Padan muka.
Memorandums on the wheel clamp announcement and notices have been placed at all areas of the Taman. Ignorance is no excuse.

Subject: Wheel Clamping of Vehicles within Taman Lone Pine
With reference to the last AGM, Wheel Clamping has been approved to be part and parcel of our Taman Lone Rules and Regulations.
The Perbadanan Pengurusan Taman Lone Pine (PPTLP) has acquired two sets of wheel clamps and our security company JW Kawalan shall be authorised to act on the PPTLP behalf to enforce Wheel Clamping for errant vehicles that do not follow our rules and regulations.
All residents are to advise their visitors to comply with the rules and regulations and to heed the advice of the Security Guards on duty.
Any vehicle found to be entering illegally or parking in another resident’s lot shall be clamped.
The fee to release the clamping will be RM100.00 for the first offence. Subsequent offence by the same vehicle / driver / visitor may result in Police Case under illegal entering into a private residential area.
In order to prevent any misunderstanding, it is hoped that full cooperation will be given to our security. This will ensure our common interests are safeguarded.

Selfish Transvestite
This weird creature was born male but does not figuratively have "balls". It joins our PPTLP committee for his own personal gains. It has the natural instinct to say and do stupid things and wehn confronted, denies everything.
This creature (H) knows everyone on the committee hates it but still hangs on and refuses to resign. This creature has not one single contribution or portfolio to date. It comes when it likes to come and sits there like deadwood. When it opens its mouth, you can smell like something has farted in the room. (stink like hell) I think this creature has been anatomically mixed up. It has an arse hole for a mouth and eats shit daily.
We had a recent emergency meeting and at the end of the meeting this creature was lectured by all the other members present and as usual it spewed out lies as if it was having diarhoea of the mouth.
We should not get mad, we should get even. (soon)Atatck is thebest defense especially against such creature

MARK OF A TRUE GENTLEMAN / WOMAN
A gentleman as we know is a sporting person. One who knows when to quit and when to fight for what is rightfully theirs. A true gentlemen knows when it is time to admit defeat and lick theri wounds.
I would like to applaud Mr. Ooi Chuan Aik for making the bold decision to quit before the management of our Taman is totally out of control. He should be an example to all other service providers. Service providers often forget, when you take your customers money, you agree to provide services promised and not the other way around.
I guess the decision came about to quit is due to the recent change around of building supervisors and their inability to come up to speed to the duties on hand plus the recent request to have the collection hours staggered.
This is definitely better than the lousy security company who had the cheek to now reduce the security guards to one per shift and to make matters worst just last nite, there were no guards one night duty. Can you imagine if anythng happens, who is responsible and who is liable now? NOw this is an unethical company Guardian Security. DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT CONSIDER THEM IF YOU NEED SECURITY - EXPENSIVE AND LOUSY SERVICE or simply CHEATS.

Courting Danger - Death By Fallen Coconut Tree
I cannot imagine if you or your child is swimming in the Taman Lone Pine swimming pool when suddenly the coconut tree falls on top of you.
Look at the close up shot of the broken off coconut trunk. It is already rotten to the core. There are many more coconut trees like these which are accidents waiting to happen.
This reflects badly on the Taman Lone Pine Country Club Management. I hope they do something responsible before they are held responsible.

YOU ARE FIRED! (SACKED, TERMINATED, HISTORY)
Finally, Guardian Security company, a subsidiary company of HL Sdn. Bhd. has been purged from managing our Taman security. The Guardian Security company has been outright dishonest in their billing.(They supply us with 1 guard and they try to bill us 2 guards) The security company has been irresponsible by not carrying out their contracted duties despite so many discussions, reminders and warnings. The security guards disappear mid way through their shift. They are missing for long periods purportedly "on patrol". You can see the missing guard hanging out beside some resident's Indonesian maids or smoking in some corner within our Taman. (contributing to fire risk in our Taman) One of the worst thing the security guard can do is to blindly let every car into the Taman without Vehicle Access Cards. And our fear came through, we just had a break in. I hope the resident who had the break in, puts into his report that he suspects that the security guard is involved as either through negligence or through collaboration, the crime was committed. The Malay proverb, "Harapkan Pagar, Pagar Makan Padi" We trusted the security company but in the end they take our money and turn against us, betray us with sub standard work. I am so glad that we finally told them, "YOU ARE FIRED!"
I can just imagine how in the past under the previous Management Corporation, we had to tolerate all the (unproven) corruption where the security company can neglect their duties and yet we as residents have no say. I invite the residents whose homes experienced break ins to come and join us as the sub committee members for security and take up an active role to make our Taman a better place. I hope the residents who have suffered do not continue to suffer but come in to make things better. If no one wants to help then, PLEASE DO NOT BLAME THE COMMITTEE because now the committee is you and me, BUT THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IS THAT YOU ALL DO NOT CARE. I hope you all who do not care WAKE UP! For your information some ignorant residents still think that the committee members are paid benefits. SORRY, WE PAY MAINTENANCE, INSURANCE, QUIT RENT and CAR PARK RENTAL JUST LIKE EVERYONE DOES. A little appreciation from the residents would not hurt, instead, some residents think we owe them a living. Did the previous building management give you auto gate? open back gate for you, ensure security, look at the bills and try to plug the holes for our building funds, get tenders for jobs, review contract, hold monthly meeting?
The committee are rowing a big boat called "Taman Lone Pine" The residents are riding along in the boat without raising a muscle. If you are not working to help our Taman, I suggest you keep quiet and let the people who want to help do their work. Recently, we lost two very key committee members because of the other selfish members who harassed and accused them. What is sad is that the ex-committee member who resides in Block 1, his parents were scolded by selfish residents and he was accused of untrue thing. Another committee member got so fed up, he also decided to leave, this person is a high ranking multinational corporate executive. He does not need all this nonsense. So Lone Pine residents, wake up before it is too late. ON the bright side, 90% of all residents are OK but only 10% make trouble. Help us tackle the 10% and all will be much better.

Let it Rot
I was talking to one resident the other day, i was lamenting to him, how frustrating it is to be in as a committee in a Manangement Corporation (MC in short), telling him that we were in not for any personal interest.(except one fellow though)neither were we looking for any recognition, we went in simply we wanted to contribute to make the place we are living in a better place to call home.
Sadly, there are certain quarters who are so adamant in sometimes taking things personally, i for once was accused of being a bigot,simply because i opposed the building of a shrine inside the common area. The issue was then settled, but recently the same quarter is again up to the same issue, and i am kind of saddened by the decision of entertaining the request again but this time around, i am smart, i totally do not want to have anything to do with it ever again, it is not worthwile at all.
I have my respect and i personally hold high esteem of our MC's chairman Mr Goh, he is tenacious in carrying out his voluntary works, and i really hope residents can give him the greatest support and co-operation but i am sure he will get pissed off, tired and redundant one day, if the support he get is an uphill task.
I like the way the resident that i was talking to, telling me how he wished that the whole area would become a rot, deplorable and turned into a slump, then and only by then it could shaken up the selfishness in those residents who are only out for their own interest.
As for me, i could not care if there are shrines here and there in the common area and i am rather pissed off by now.
