Finally, Guardian Security company, a subsidiary company of HL Sdn. Bhd. has been purged from managing our Taman security. The Guardian Security company has been outright dishonest in their billing.(They supply us with 1 guard and they try to bill us 2 guards) The security company has been irresponsible by not carrying out their contracted duties despite so many discussions, reminders and warnings. The security guards disappear mid way through their shift. They are missing for long periods purportedly "on patrol". You can see the missing guard hanging out beside some resident's Indonesian maids or smoking in some corner within our Taman. (contributing to fire risk in our Taman) One of the worst thing the security guard can do is to blindly let every car into the Taman without Vehicle Access Cards. And our fear came through, we just had a break in. I hope the resident who had the break in, puts into his report that he suspects that the security guard is involved as either through negligence or through collaboration, the crime was committed. The Malay proverb, "Harapkan Pagar, Pagar Makan Padi" We trusted the security company but in the end they take our money and turn against us, betray us with sub standard work. I am so glad that we finally told them, "YOU ARE FIRED!"
I can just imagine how in the past under the previous Management Corporation, we had to tolerate all the (unproven) corruption where the security company can neglect their duties and yet we as residents have no say. I invite the residents whose homes experienced break ins to come and join us as the sub committee members for security and take up an active role to make our Taman a better place. I hope the residents who have suffered do not continue to suffer but come in to make things better. If no one wants to help then, PLEASE DO NOT BLAME THE COMMITTEE because now the committee is you and me, BUT THE BIGGEST PROBLEM IS THAT YOU ALL DO NOT CARE. I hope you all who do not care WAKE UP! For your information some ignorant residents still think that the committee members are paid benefits. SORRY, WE PAY MAINTENANCE, INSURANCE, QUIT RENT and CAR PARK RENTAL JUST LIKE EVERYONE DOES. A little appreciation from the residents would not hurt, instead, some residents think we owe them a living. Did the previous building management give you auto gate? open back gate for you, ensure security, look at the bills and try to plug the holes for our building funds, get tenders for jobs, review contract, hold monthly meeting?
The committee are rowing a big boat called "Taman Lone Pine" The residents are riding along in the boat without raising a muscle. If you are not working to help our Taman, I suggest you keep quiet and let the people who want to help do their work. Recently, we lost two very key committee members because of the other selfish members who harassed and accused them. What is sad is that the ex-committee member who resides in Block 1, his parents were scolded by selfish residents and he was accused of untrue thing. Another committee member got so fed up, he also decided to leave, this person is a high ranking multinational corporate executive. He does not need all this nonsense. So Lone Pine residents, wake up before it is too late. ON the bright side, 90% of all residents are OK but only 10% make trouble. Help us tackle the 10% and all will be much better.

This morning at 0040(past midnight) Mr Vellu came knocking on my door. Reason, he has been working from 1000am on 7th Mar and there seem to be no replacement. Attempts to contact the boss Mr Benny Yew and his Supervisor Mr Loh failed as both phone was not switch on. Rang the Prai office and was connected to one of their duty supervisor, promised to contact Mr Benny. Call back to say, there is nothing they can do as there is no staff available.
ReplyDelete0130 finally another guard Fadzil arrived, and that the time I finally got to bed but it was a very restless sleep as this may happen again.
Contract stipulates 2 guards at any one time but they chose to ignore this fact, supply one staff but bill for two.
We are not about to be cheated as we are holding back payment since November 2009 until they explained. Moreover we are holding them responsible for the recent breakin on 6th March on Block 1 14 floor.

Next step team need to look into the lift maintainance company and lighting maintainance company as I feel bad compare to previous company!!!
1)Our lift after they repair it and next day down again...
2)How much they repair cost...
3)Our Taman comon area light down for month but did not change by the lighting company....do not know whether they still charge month under maintainance?
