The Ice Melts

Lst night I had a good sleep after a few nights of late nights and bugging the Taman Lone Pine Security guards. Our gate crasher, Mr. N finally came and had a talk with us. He owns a unit at our Taman and he rents 2 units of shoplots. Theoratically he should have 5 access cards to enter and park at 5 parking lots. It since, our "devil"oper has cheated him out of 2 parking lots. Sad to say, that is his problem. Anyway, to cut a long story short, a compromise was reached, the Management Commitee representatives Mr. William and yours truly, agreed that he should write in to request for a longer time to drop off his materials instead of the standard 20 mintes.

Can you imagine, the residents and committee were clashing with Mr. N for the past 6 years over this when it could have been resolved by a single meeting. AHEM, of course this is subject to both parties holding up to their end of the bargain.

Now, our focus is to get the security and other service providers to come into line. Watch out for my next blog where I aim to fill you in on all the horror stories of security guards, their supervisor and the guys managing the company.

  2. So far the management committee has done a good job on the touch and go. Very impressive. How about the internal of the building? Do anyone of you notice cobwebs on every floor of the Block 1 whenever you come out of the lift. On the common areas, residents display their goods. It will be a hindrance whenever there is a fire. Safety first is very important. By the way, when can we, the residents get a copy of the House Rules

  5. Hello Mr Lim,
1.Yes the VAS is installed with a lighting surge protector and it cost us quite a bit.
2.We have given instruction to the BS(Building Supervisor) to put up the Monthly Statement on the Notice Board. And we have just received the June Statement. We will remind him.
3.Allied Property Management have their own internal staffing problem but it is now resolved
with a more experienced gentleman Mr Yeoh.
4.We have been told by our Building Manager from
Allied that where there are already an existing shade on one side, the other side cannot construct the shade. Similarly in certain sharp corner it is also not possible.
However if none of this affect your lot, you are to obtain a minimum of 4 lots in a row to share cost the Construction cost at a per lot of RM950. Do cordinate with the BS.
    Regards.
